KVUTZA YOUTH CLUB

Sunday 10 December, 12.30 pm - 2.00 pm

Our theme this week is 'Cluedo comes to life'.

Kvutza Youth Club is held monthly.  The sessions include RSY-Netzer style activities and skills workshops for children in the community between the ages of 7 and 10.

Kvutza Junior Youth Club – monthly sessions


Kvutza is held once a month on Sundays, during Term Time, at the synagogue. Weekly cost is £3.00 a session.  

7 – 10 years – Sundays, 12.30 pm – 2.00pm*

We have an air hockey table, table tennis, DVDs and activities include multi sports, drama, arts & crafts, trips, team-building, movie nights and lots more.

* We will meet at 12.30 pm to enable attendees to eat a packed lunch** and then Club will begin at 1.00 pm

** Vegetarian or fish packed lunch

Come and create a vase, a pot, a figure or a sculpture out of clay in our pottery session!

Let’s get cooking! Your children will help to create some wonderful, kid-friendly foods which they can take home with them at the end of Youth Club.

Sunday 15th April - Giant Board Games

Step inside a world where your favourite board games become life sized. Compete against your friends to win the crown of Best Gamer of Sha’arei Tsedek!


Each session will take place between 12:30-2.00pm. Children (aged 7-10) are to eat a packed lunch provided by parents/guardians between 12:30-12:50, after which the activity will begin.


Youth activities

In addition to the weekly Youth Club we will be introducing regular activities on Friday evenings and Festivals. 


Charley Katan, Youth Worker

Charley grew up in Finchley, North London and attended Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls in Aldenham, Herts.

She is currently studying English Literature at University College London.  Charley has been involved with Jewish Youth work for many years and last year she spent past nine months on Shnat Netzer in Israel with Netzer Olami, an experience that taught her valuable leadership skills and more in depth knowledge and understanding of Reform Judaism, Zionism and Tikkun Olam.

Charley holds a Youth Leadership Qualification from RSY-Netzer and was a Pastoral Prefect to 25 girls during her time in Sixth Form. For the past three years she has led RSY-Netzer Summer Camp.

She is passionate about music (she plays guitar, piano and the ukulele), literature and drama and has a keen interest in film-making.
